PAYMENT
Beginning in August 2017, payments will be processed through my Etsy shop, not through this website. Submit your shopping cart with the online order form, with your name and email address, and you'll be sent a link to your order in my Etsy shop, which you can use to pay for your order. There, you can pay either with Paypal or a credit card.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING: USA
Orders are usually shipped within 5 days. Domestic (U.S.) orders are shipped via First Class unless otherwise instructed. We are based in Los Angeles, and shipments usually reach their destination within the United States in 2-5 days. If you want your order shipped via an expedited shipping method, place your order, then email your instructions to : design@harajukuswimwear.com. Generally, the cost of shipping and insuring a single two-piece suit domestically runs about $7; add about $2 for each additional piece.

SALES TAX
Items shipped within California are subject to 9.5% Sales Tax.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service. Customers are liable for any customs fees levied by their own government. Generally, the cost of shipping a single suit runs about $10 to Canada and Mexico. Overseas $14.

RETURNS
Items considered for returns must be unworn, not laundered, have the tags and liners intact, be in saleable condition, and be received by us within 10 days of the original ship date. All returns must be sent via insured mail with Delivery Confirmation. If these conditions are not met, the item will be returned to you at your expense. Not returnable for ANY reason: thongs, sale merchandise, custom work, and wholesale orders. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Returns for a refund totalling $100 or more are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Exchanges are exempt from this fee.
It is suggested that you follow our guidelines on our SIZING INFO page to avoid any size-related returns. Our suits do not have padding or underwires, only necessary construction like boning in the sides for stability. They are lined as necessary, the palest colors fully lined. You must expect a certain degree of transparency in white and pastel colors when wet. If you have a very contrast-y body, i.e., pale skin and dark hair, it is best to avoid these colors altogether, and choose a print or darker shade. Pale colors work best on dark-skinned women, pale blondes, or people who have all-over tans from a tanning salon. Swimwear should always be hand washed; no claims will be honored when a suit has been through a washing machine. And Hot Tubs and Jacuzzis WILL ruin your suit-- It's like throwing it into a washing machine set on HOT, and putting a couple of cups of bleach in there!
